The National Research Council of the Philippines has recently been awarded by the Presidential Anti-Graft Commission (PAGC) as ranked 7th out of the 177 participating agencies in the Integrity Development Action Plan (IDAP) 2009 Awards held on February 9, 2010 at the Pres. Diosdado Macapagal Function Room, Landbank, Malate, Manila. The said recognition is given in quarterly basis for the effective implementation of integrity projects and policies by government agencies that will redound to the strengthening of anti-graft and corruption measures advocated by the National Government.

The Philippines, through the auspices of the National Research Council of the Philippines of the Department of Science and Technology (NRCP - DOST), will host this 13 – 16 June 2010, the 10th Science Council of Asia Conference focusing on Meeting Health Challenges in the Asia Pacific—responding through an integrated and multidisciplinary approach in science and technology.
